Midwest City Roof Work Guided by What the Roof Itself Shows

We repair roofs, replace worn ones, fix storm damage and install gutters for homes across Midwest City, Del City and Choctaw. First we climb up, check the attic and photograph anything that matters. You hear what we found in plain terms, and only then do we suggest a fix.

A Roofing Company That Looks Before It Talks

Midwest City Roofing was built around a simple habit: get on the roof, look carefully and tell people what is really there. Many homeowners call us after hearing conflicting advice from door-knockers. We slow things down, look properly and give a straight answer, even when that answer is a small repair.

We care about how a roof looks when it is finished, not just whether it sheds water. Even shingle courses, tidy valleys and clean edges are signs of careful work. They are also signs the roof will last.

That same care carries through the quieter parts of a job. We keep your driveway clear when we can, tell you before the crew arrives and leave the yard as tidy as we found it.

Roofing Services for Your Home and Building

Most of our work is roof repair, roof replacement and storm damage repair on homes, along with gutters that carry water where it should go. We also offer roof inspections on their own, useful before you buy, sell or file a claim. For business owners, we handle commercial roof repair and commercial roof replacement with the same careful first look.

  • Roofer in a harness re-roofing a single-story brick ranch home, with ladders, tarps, a dump trailer and a pickup with a ladder rack parked at the curb

    Roof Replacement

Full tear-off roof replacement with deck repair, new flashing and balanced ventilation, recommended only when our findings show a repair will not do.

  • Roofer in gloves and tool belt fitting replacement asphalt shingles beside a new black pipe boot near the gutter edge of a gray shingle roof

    Roof Repair

We trace leaks to their source, photograph what we find, and repair shingles, flashing and decking with materials that match your roof.

  • Roofer with a clipboard on an asphalt shingle roof beside a box vent and pipe boot, noting details while a homeowner stands in the front yard below

    Roof Inspections

A close look at your shingles, flashing, decking and attic, with dated photos and a plain explanation of what we saw.

  • Roofer in a yellow harness holds a roofing nailer beside lifted shingles and exposed decking, with a blue tarp battened over the damaged section above, overcast day

    Storm Damage Repair

After hail or high wind, we check the roof slope by slope, photograph what we find and repair the damage with matched materials.

  • Worker on an aluminum extension ladder drilling to fasten a white gutter and downspout along the eave of a brick house under an overcast sky

    Gutters

Continuous aluminum gutters and downspouts matched to your roof, installed only after we check the fascia, drip edge and where the water ends up.

  • Roofer in a safety harness walks across a low-slope commercial roof with membrane rolls, fastener plates and pipe boots, a ladder and debris trailer below

    Commercial Roof Replacement

Full replacement of low-slope and metal roofs on business buildings, scoped from core cuts and moisture readings so you replace only what the findings support.

  • Gloved roofer in a harness kneels on a flat commercial roof, using a torch and trowel to seal a modified bitumen patch beside the parapet wall

    Commercial Roof Repair

Leak tracing and repairs for flat and low-slope commercial roofs, with photos and a written scope before any work begins.

Why Homeowners Choose Us

A roof is easy to oversell. We would rather show you the shingle, the flashing or the soft decking and let the evidence make the case.

  1. 01

    Evidence before advice

We cover each face of the roof on foot, check the attic if we can get into it and take pictures of the areas that matter. Every picture comes with an explanation in everyday words. Only after that do we talk about what to do.

  2. 02

Over 20 years of combined roofing experience

Our roofers bring over 20 years of combined roofing experience. That background helps us tell a harmless scuff on a shingle from hail bruising that will open up and leak a couple of seasons from now.

  3. 03

    Two Oklahoma licenses

We hold an Oklahoma residential roofing license and an Oklahoma general contractor license. If a project goes deeper than the shingles, into decking, fascia or framing, it stays properly licensed work from start to finish.

  4. 04

Materials chosen for how they wear

We talk through shingle weight, underlayment and ventilation in terms of how they will stand up to hail, high wind and summer heat on your home. Then you choose, with no pressure toward the most expensive option.

  5. 05

A finish you can check yourself

Clean drip edge lines, sealed flashing and straight ridge caps are details you can see from the yard. We point them out on the final walk-through.

How a Roof Job Runs

Each step is planned so you know what is happening on your home and when.

  1. 1

    First call

You tell us what caught your eye: a ceiling stain, shingles in the yard or a storm that rolled through. We pick a day that suits you to come by.

  2. 2

    Roof and attic check

We go over shingles, flashing, vents, gutters and the attic space. You get photos and a straightforward rundown of the parts holding up fine, the parts that are aging and anything that has already given way.

  3. 3

    Written estimate and choices

If work is needed, we give you a line-item estimate and an honest view on repair versus replacement. Nothing is scheduled until you decide.

  4. 4

    Work day

We cover landscaping, protect the driveway and keep debris contained. On a replacement, tear-off and install usually happen in one stretch so your home is never left open.

  5. 5

    Cleanup and walk-through

We sweep the yard with a magnet for nails, haul away debris and walk the finished roof with you.

What Shapes the Cost of Roof Work

We do not quote a roof from the street or from a satellite image. The price depends on what is actually up there and underneath, which is why the close look comes first. These are the things that move it most.

After our visit you get a written estimate broken out by item and quantity. If something changes once the old roof is off, we show you before any added work begins.

Square footage and steepness
A bigger roof takes more shingles, underlayment and labor hours. A steep slope calls for added safety gear and a slower, more deliberate pace from the crew, so the job runs longer.
Condition of the decking
Soft or stained plywood has to come out before new shingles go on. Some of it stays hidden until tear-off, so your estimate lists the per-sheet price ahead of time and nobody is guessing later.
Layers to tear off
A second layer of old shingles means more labor and more disposal. Stripping it also lets us see and repair what sits underneath.
Material choice
Standard architectural shingles, impact-resistant shingles and metal each carry different costs and lifespans. We set them side by side so you can weigh them.
Flashing, vents and details
Chimneys, skylights, valleys and pipe boots all take careful hand work. Worn flashing is a frequent leak source, and replacing it properly belongs in a sound job.
Permits and timing
Where a permit is required, we pull it and schedule the city's sign-off visit. Busy stretches after spring hail can affect scheduling, though not the way we price.

Questions Homeowners Ask Us

How do I know if my roof needs repair or full replacement?

That answer comes from a close look, not a guess. When the trouble sits in one spot and the remaining shingles still have life in them, fixing that spot is usually the sensible call. If shingles are brittle and shedding granules everywhere, or the decking is soft in several places, a new roof is the better use of your money. We show you photos either way.

Hail just came through. Should I file an insurance claim first?

It usually helps to have someone look at the roof before you file. We photograph what we find so you know whether there is real damage worth reporting. We can explain how the claims process generally works, but your adjuster decides coverage.

Will new shingles match my existing roof?

Shingle colors fade in the sun, and product lines change over the years, so an exact match on an older roof is not always possible. We bring samples to hold against your roof in daylight and tell you honestly how close the match will look from the street. If a patch would stand out badly, we say so.

Do you handle permits?

Yes. Where the city requires a permit for roof work, we pull it and arrange the city's final check. You will not need to make trips to the permit office.

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most homes take one to two working days. Size, pitch and the amount of decking that turns out to be soft all play a part. Rain or high wind can push the start back, and if the date moves we tell you as soon as we know.

Is your work covered by a warranty?

Yes. Our roofing work comes with a lifetime workmanship warranty. Shingles and other materials carry their own coverage from the manufacturer, and we explain how the two fit together before the job starts.

Will my yard and driveway be protected?

We cover shrubs and flower beds, shield the areas where debris lands and run magnets over the ground to pick up nails at the end of the job. We leave the property the way we found it.

Do you work on commercial buildings too?

We do. We offer commercial roof repair and commercial roof replacement for business owners, starting with the same careful first look and written findings.

Begin With an Honest Look at Your Roof

Tell us what you have noticed, whether it is a ceiling stain, a missing shingle or a storm that just passed, and we will set a time to come see it in person. You will look at the same evidence we do before we recommend anything.
